Paris Trip

Day 1

Bonjour Paris!

​

​

Welcome to the beautiful city of Paris! After going through immigration and customs, the driver will meet you to take you to the hotel. Check in to your hotel and spend some time resting or explore the surrounding area - the afternoon is yours!

 

​​​

In the evening we'll meet in the lobby for a meet and greet with the group, followed by a dinner cruise on the river Seine.

Day 2

Monet and Marie Antoinette

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll head out on a full day guided tour of Monet's gardens and home in Giverny and Versailles. During your visit in Giverny, admire the multicolored flower beds, the Clos Normand Flower Garden with its many Eastern plants, and the lush water garden, famous for its water lilies and Japanese bridge which inspired his famous paintings.

After a traditional, countryside lunch, we will go on to Versailles to visit the famed Palace of Marie Antoinette and explore the beautiful site and gardens.

Day 3

Classic Paris

Fun surprise planned for this morning! Details will be provided to those who register!

​

After the surprise, we'll go on a tour of classic  Paris - Eiffel tower, Louvre, Arc De Triomphe and of course hot chocolate at a beautiful cafe!

​

Evening is free to explore on your own - recommendations will be provided

Day 4

J'adore Paris

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel, then roll up your sleeves for a hands on macaron making class with a French pastry chef!

​

After a quick lunch we'll spend the afternoon strolling and shopping along the iconic Champs-Elysees, and end the day with a beautiful dinner to toast an unforgettable Parisian escape with amazing memories created with our daughter's that they will (hopefully) cherish forever!

Day 5

Adieu, Paris

Departure day - Airport transfer will pick you up from the hotel depending on the time of your return flight.

Things to know:

Mother Daughter Trip:

This trip is for moms and girls over the age of 11. Others without daughters are welcome to join, however be aware there will be children joining us on this trip.

​

Visa & Travel Requirements: 

  • Valid passport - must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure.

  • Visa is not currently required

  • It is your responsibility to ensure you have the proper travel documentation - visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html for more details.

 

Safety: 

Paris is generally safe for female travelers, especially in well traveled areas and tourist neighborhoods. Be aware of your surroundings and watch for pickpocketing, avoid poorly lit streets late at night and use trusted transportation. â€‹

Currency & Cash:

Most restaurants and stores will take major credit cards. If you wish to shop at street vendors you will need Euros. Money can be converted at the airport. We recommend bringing at least $200 in cash. 

​

Getting Around:

Uber is available and the recommended way to get around

​

Water:

When traveling to another country, drinking bottled water is recommended. Better to be safe than spend your vacation with an upset stomach!

​

Language:

You'll likely find people who speak English, but knowing a few key phrases in French is always helpful!
