Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing The Travelista & Co for your travel experience. Please carefully review our refund and cancellation policy, especially as it relates to non-transferable payments, required travel insurance, and passport/visa compliance.
1. Deposits

A 25% deposit is required to secure each traveler’s spot on the selected trip.

Deposits are non refundable.

Deposits are non-transferable to another trip, event, or participant. They apply only to the originally selected trip.
2. Balance Payment

The remaining balance for all travelers is due 90 days prior to the trip start date.

All balance payments are non-refundable once submitted.

Balance payments are also non-transferable to any other trip or future date.
3. Travel Insurance Requirement
We require proof of travel insurance for each participant that includes:

Trip cancellation coverage

Medical and emergency evacuation coverage

Coverage for personal emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
This must be submitted no later than 60 days prior to the trip start date, alongside the final balance.
⚠️ We do not offer refunds for trip/flight interruptions, cancellations, illness, personal emergencies, or natural events. Any recourse for non-refundable expenses must be through your insurance provider.
4. Passport and Visa Requirements
It is the sole responsibility of each traveler to ensure they have a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity from the travel date) and any required visas for the destination country.

No refunds will be issued for failure to obtain or present valid travel documentation, including denied boarding or entry.

We do not offer assistance with passport or visa applications.
5. Non-Transferable Terms

Deposits and payments are not transferable to another trip, future event, or different participant.

All payments are tied specifically to the original trip selected at the time of booking.
6. Changes, Credits, and Exceptions

Trip changes, date modifications, or credit requests are not permitted.

Exceptions will not be made for missed flights, personal or family emergencies, or weather-related issues, unless covered by your insurance.

If The Travelista & Co changes the dates, cancels from low participation or other reasons (travel restrictions in destination), we will fully refund your payment.
7. Cancellation Procedure
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

Include your full name, booking reference, and trip start date in your request.
We strongly encourage booking travel insurance immediately after confirming your reservation to protect your investment.
